Agreement of observers or methods This set of techniques are used to assess agreement between the same measurements using either different raters or different methods e.g. two methods for measuring blood pressure. The chosen method is dependent on the type of data collected. For categorical data use Cohen's kappa (nominal data) or Weighted Kappa (ordinal data). For a continuous outcome use the Intraclass correlation (ICC).
